Moroccan chicken tagine with couscous salad and flatbread

Step 1: Chicken and sauce
  • Add a little oil to a frying pan and place over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken until 80% done (Gold brown outside and a little soft in the middle), take out the pan and set them aside.
  • Add a little oil to the same frying pan over medium to high heat.
  • Add in onions and carrots, season with a little salt and cook continuously until they are softened.
  • Put the chicken back in the pan, then add sauce and simmer over low heat until chicken is fully cooked and carrots are soft to your liking.

Step :Couscous salad
  • Add 60g of boiled water per person (120g for 2, 180g for 3) to couscous with a stock cube (optional) in a bowl, cover the bowl with a lid or cling film.
  • Wait until couscous has fully absorbed the water.
  • Add in salad, season with a pinch of salt if needed and drizzle with oliver oil, then mix well.

Step 3: Flatbread
  • Place flatbread on a plate and cover them with cling film. Heat up in microwave for 30 to 40 seconds.
